Shifting seasons November 1, 2005
Posted by clayton in : workout , add a commentThe season is changing and it's so DAMN cold!!! Well, do you call 25C cold? I do…In Okinawa, 25C is cold and below 20C is freezing. We're worried about snow at 20C…Ofcourse, it never snows. I get these frustrating headaches when the season changes…It really bothers me, a good little nap helps but then I don't have the time to workout. Today, I had a headache all afternoon, didn't have my run with the new fuel belt. But I was able to swim and ride 6km to the pool and back.
The swim: It's been like 5days? since the last time I swam and it felt soooo weird. The swim went well. I was doing 50m intervals with a 1min15sec cycle and I averaged about 55sec for each 50m. The bad part was that I wasn't able to catch up with the medley practice. It was the last lap, I couldn't butterfly and I stopped. It really stressed me out…That was like the first time I stopped in how long?? I can't remember the last time I stopped. It wasn't like I was having a hard time but my body couldn't resist not stopping. I guess this means I was having a hard time? or atleast my body was…So here's my new goal which will last for my whole life, I won't stop just because of the "toughness". More like a duty…
Tomorrow: I won't say I'll run…I'll see how the day goes and then decide to run or not. If I don't have the headache, I'll run, then swim and MTB 6km. After all that comes the monthly review and goal for the new month. I have some nice little ideas in mind for some future motivation:-)
