Natural intervals…natural?? December 8, 2005

The morning went like every other morning, school went as usual again. After school, I had 2bike rides and a swim.

Bike ride: I went out on my road bike and hit 41km. Haven't been going out much but for some reason, I felt some improvement. I'm guessing my average speed was like 30kph or so…I forgot to push the lap button, now that definately means I need to have more rides!!! I had some interval training?? Didn't really think of it but when I thought back, it was like some interval training. I needed to go and come back in 1hr50min in order to get to the swimming pool on time so the bike ride kinda went like this…Ride fast, caught in a red light, ride fast and so on. I'm thinking of having a LSD ride both on Saturday and Sunday.

Bike ride2: Was to the swimming pool and back. You know what? the mtb ride isn't 20km, my computer said 19.3km…Am I supposed to trust the car or my mtb…The mtb, definately!!! Cars use gasoline….That's not a good enough reason though. Awww, who cares, the ride was tough the whole way because I left home a little later than usual.

Swim: Swam about 1600m and it was easy energy wise but hard technique wise. And a new guy came, he's an American, when I think of it, it's my first time seeing an American in swim pants. WOW, look at those muscles, makes me wonder what I'm made up by…Skin!?!? He's pretty fast but one thing made kinda bothered me. He was using a pull buoy and he was kicking…What's the use of a pull buoy if you kick? hmmm…I guess he has his own thing in mind. I had a NICE swim compared to the past few days…hehe, HEAVEN!!!!

Tomorrow: I'll either bike or run and then go for a swim…Yes, the tough stuff again…Wish me luck!!!
