One little mistake, please teach me December 10, 2005
Posted by clayton in : workout , add a commentAnother day at school, just waiting for the bell to ring so I could just run home. If I have enough time, I'll go for a bike ride, if not, I'll try using my indoor trainer which I haven't really been using much…I get the feeling that it's ruining my tires. But, I still used it today.
Ride?: I was only able to have 11km in…I noticed something stinky and found out that it was my back tire. It smelt like burnt rubber and gave me a headache. Now this happened only an hour before the swim so I ended up taking a day off. Getting angry and frustrated isn't my style anymore, I'll take this as a nice rest for tomorrow's LSD ride. Planning for atleast 80km. Maybe two rides, if I feel up to it.
Here's what I think about indoor trainers: The good thing is that I could listen to music while training and don't have to worry about falling off or some stupid car making a sudden left turn after passing me. The bad part, it smells!!! I'm pretty sure I screwed up trying to set it. Hope I get the hang of it because it's pretty obvious I'm gonna have to use it to accomplish the "Challenge 1000km". I just have something against going for a ride in the rain. It's my one and only road bike and I don't wanna wreck it. So, if you have any advice on how to set indoor trainers, please comment!!! Thanks for any info;-)
Tomorrow: The LSD ride will begin early in the morning, which is unusual for me because I'm the type of guy who keeps snoozing, I bang my alarm clock off. After that, I'll maybe take a nap and then go for a run.
