I could hit the bed any second January 6, 2006
Posted by clayton in : workout , add a commentBack to the athlete whatever course today. I haven't been swimming much and the first thing we did was yes, a warm up ofcourse but the second thing was a 1000m TT. At first, I was like, 'awww, darn it!!! Can I go home?' but when I think about it, it's much better than doing the individual medley stuff. I finished in 20:25, slow but I haven't raced myself in a while so I guess I'll say it's good because I didn't go home;-) And you know what? The medley practice came afterwards, funny eh? Took it easy though, it was my first time in a MONTH swimming butterfly, breast stroke and back stroke. 3300m total.
Now here's the bad part of today, it was so damn cold and rainy. Absolutely no ride but I could've gone for a run I guess, if I felt like freezing. The good part is, I did some muscle training instead. Did a bit of the upper body but I wouldn't want too much muscles up there, just enough to be able to swim faster and keep my run/bike pace where it is or even faster.
Tomorrow: If it rains tomorrow, I'll do my lower body, if not, a run in the morning and a little bit of biking in the afternoon. School starts again…awww, how depressing although I get to meet some friends. There's just waaay tooo much time to spend in school isn't there…I don't wanna get in 12th grade…the battle of college entrance starts, or…is already happening this second.
