Weird swims March 10, 2006
Posted by clayton in : workout , add a commentToday, I had a 50min trainer ride, a 10km run and an easy swim. As expected, it wasn't deadly. I barely even ran out of breath either.
The trainer ride: 5min warmup, 5sets of 1min*3(right, left, both) I shifted up after the 1st set and 3rd set. Then, 5sets of 2min hard+1min easy, also shifted up after the 1st set and 3rd set. At last, 5sets of 30sec all out+1min30sec easy. 5min cool down and then done. Wasn't able to give my best shot for the all out, maybe I needed to shift to a higher gear because I was spinning at like 140rpm and my maxhr was 181bpm, hehe. Average was 154bpm.
Brick?: Right after the ride, I jumped off the trainer and quickly washed my swim pants, dried it, changed my shirt&watch then went out for the run.
The run: I felt like stopping, no pain or anything but I just felt lazy. Don't think about it, just do it…I did it but my times were pretty bad, you could actually see how lazy I was. 1-11'03, 2-11'46, 3-10'35, 4-10'37, 5-9'18, total of 53'22. On the last lap, I wasn't really trying to make my lap time any better or anything but I just wanted to get it done with. It really suprised me because I was totally in control of myself. My pace rised but my legs listened to me and I wasn't panting.
Brick2?: Right when I got home from the run, I changed clothes, put my swim pants on and went to the swimming pool…
The swim: Again, I wasn't in the mood of swimming. There were so many people and the training menu was just SO EASY!!! 200m warmup, 150m kick, pull, swim(3:30), 25m*32(0:40) plus some more 25ms and then 25m*6 sprints. The total was only 2350m and the usual Thursday, atleast 3000m+ unless it's speed training or something. I made a new PR today too, like 3times, hehe. Wonder why I renew my PR when I feel like going home…
Tomorrow: Either run or have a trainer ride after school, maybe both and then, have a swim. I bet it's gonna be easy again…
