Okay, my legs are wearing out March 11, 2006
Posted by clayton in : workout , add a commentI won't take that bad, it's proof that I've been training. My legs just weren't in the mood to take another 10km run, especially after the trainer ride. It's weird, I had a really easy run yesterday and a TIRING trainer ride yesterday but I chose to jump on the trainer today. Well, to be honest, it was gonna be a brick until I noticed my legs weren't catching up with the warm up…
The trainer ride: 50min, same thing as yesterday. 5min warm up, 5sets of 1min*3(right, left, both) shifted up after the 1st&3rd set, 5sets of 2min hard+1min easy and again, shifted up after 1st&3rd. At last, 5sets of 30s all out+1m30s easy, one gear heavier than yesterday, 5min cool down. Am I the only one who feels that weird thing going up my neck when I pedal hard? Maxhr was 184bpm and avg was 155bpm. Just for your information, I include the warm up and cool down for this heart rate whatever, do you? There's this one "sport zone" thingy on my hrm, didn't know what it was but now I do. I was in zone5(90-100%hr) for 4'24, zone4(80-90%) for 19'04, zone3(70-80%) for 19'34, zone2(60-70%) for 6'34 and zone1(50-60%) for 0'22. Please tell me, is that good or bad? If you have spare time, maybe some examples to come with it…
Tomorrow: Saturday!!! yay!!! 3km warm up run(thinking of taking the hrm with me…) and a morning swim. I'll definately have a trainer ride and maybe think of a different combination of intervals but keep the intensity or what Libor might call it, the easiness;-) Have another run and another swim. Damn, there's gonna be a lot of sweat in the laundry basket…
